How This Site Works

Simple guide for members and event organisers.

This platform supports UK amateur radio events with live spots, map visibility, event participation, organiser controls, and post-event reporting.

Member role: join events, set operating location, post live spots, log QSOs, and track activity from dashboard tools.

Organiser role: build templates, create events, manage participants, review allocations, monitor map activity, moderate spots, and review reports.

Event modes: Simple Join is for participation without organiser frequency approval. Frequency Approval adds recommendation + organiser approval workflow to reduce channel clashes.

Organisers create templates, then publish events with schedule, scope, and operating rules.
Members join events and share operating location and callsign context.
In Frequency Approval mode, the system recommends frequencies and organisers approve or override allocations.
Live spots and map markers show who is active in near real time.
Logs, leaderboards, rewards, and reports preserve activity for review after the event.
